The brainy James

 

This is James he is very very very smart. 

He even knows how to use computer and play browser games with no mouse.

                                 When he was 8 years old he had to have glasses because he was playing games to much. 

               He knows how to read a book he has read all of the harry Potter books and they have about 300 to 325 words!

                                                                         He is a long dog his nickname is hot dog.

                                                       

My News report

 

Today I finished my news report about me and Sonny looking at a clock Woden for a starter disappear.

our ads are nike and the Kyrie Irving shoes. 

My favourite part was playing basketball at the park and playing NBA 2K mobile.

NBA 2k mobile is a game that yu can only play on mobile and you can collect other basketball players on cards and use the cards that you have to play a game of basketball. You have 5 players on the court at a time.

Math

 In math we have been learning about capicity and temperature. Today we did a experiment. We would look at the weigth of 1 litre of water and 1 Litre of sand and we said which would weigh more I said the water.   It was a trick question they both weighed the same. But the cool thing is that sand is made out of rocks. 

1 kg = 1000gm

1 grams = mg

What We Have Done This Term

In term 2 i have done lots of activities.

Like winter sport, basketball competition and PMP.

I like winter sport the most because i love sport and i am doing capture the flag.

We did a learning celebration for Inquiry I did an earthquake slideshow with a lot of facts.

Plus: That I don't have to eat my food and we can have more food for my family and some more money

Plus: That we have more healthy food like caroots, lettice, tomato and meet in the sandwiches. We have potato salidand not chips,crackers and chip sandwiches.

Minus: That some times I dont like the lunches becuase sometimes they have egg in them and I dont like egg. I dont like beef or the ham that is put in. I am a fussy eater. I dont like the vetegarian luches cause they tast funny.

Minus: Heaps food gets wasted every day and put in the scrap bin. sme food only has 1 bite out of it. Lots of plastic is still put in the scrap bin which will kill the aniamls if they eat it. They will be in pain for quitt a while before they die of the plastic

Bridle path walk

 

Today We went to walk the bridle path. We went there to see how hard it was for the early settlers to get t the top. We were just holding a backpack with morning tea and a drink bottle in it. They carried all their stuff that they took on the boat which is what they brought with them on the boat. They arrived at New Zealand in Lyttelton and got of the boat. I really liked it a lot of people showed resilience and some showed empathy. I showed resilience. We got there in a bus.

Most of Them took about 2 bags. some came with too.

Our Earthquake Slideshow

This is our earthquake slideshow and we have been working on this for about 3 weeks.
We were working by our selves and then this new kid Hezekian came to help us.
He didn't do much but he found some facts and we were writing them down.
We were doing a animation but we changed to a slideshow.
I did this because i was in it and i wondered what it look like after because i dont remember.
We got some videos t see what it was like and we had to look around for a lot of facts it took us about 2 and a half weeks to finish.
Duke found facts and i write them down. And we found out when it happened and the time it was when it happened. We had lots of fun making the slideshow. It was way better making a slideshow. We found this website which gave us a lot of facts it was canterbury Christchurch earthquake facts for kids it helped us a lot.
